Traffic Closures for La Mercè Festival
Road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect in Ciutat Vella, parts of Eixample, and Montjuïc due to La Mercè festivities. Closures are phased, intensifying in the afternoon and evening. Visitors are advised to use public transport (Metro, FGC, Rodalies).

Barcelona's annual main festival, celebrating the city's patron saint. Expect a city-wide program of parades, free concerts, street performances, fireworks, traditional events like 'castellers' (human towers) and 'correfoc' (fire run), and open days at museums and cultural spaces. Shanghai is the guest city for this edition. Events will take place across 10 districts, including major spaces like Fòrum, Estació del Nord, Parc de la Trinitat, Parc de les Glòries, Port Olímpic, Plaça de Catalunya, Plaça de Sant Jaume, and Parc de la Ciutadella.
