It says what you'd say at the door.
For bars, restaurants, shops and museums
Your place is on Vibe of the City because travellers saved it and recommended it to each other — nobody paid for it to be there. Claiming it is free and takes about ten minutes: write the description in your own words, put the right phone number and website on it, and leave it alone.
No card, no commission, no subscription — and nothing to post afterwards.
Claiming isn't a cut-down host page, guide page or expert seat, and it doesn't need any of them. There's no page to design, no QR card to print and nothing to hand out. It's the place travellers already see, corrected by the person who knows it best.
Six things that change the moment the place is yours.
Replace the description a data export put together with yours — what you're known for, what to order, when to come.
Put your real phone number and website on the place, so a traveller who wants to book reaches you and not an old directory entry.
Your edits are kept apart from the map data and laid on top of it, so the next automatic update can't quietly undo them.
A place has at most one verified owner. While it's yours, nobody else can change what it says.
Where the travellers who save and recommend you come from, their age band and what they're into. Never shown under 15 travellers, so no one can be picked out.
No star average, no public reviews to answer, no position to fight for. Travellers recommend you to each other, and claiming doesn't tilt that either way.
Same traveller, same place, a week apart.

An old number from a directory. The traveller who wanted a table gives up.
Your number and your website, live the moment you save.
Travellers are saving you and you have no idea who they are.
An anonymised read of where they come from and what they're into, once enough of them have.
Email on your own domain is instant. The other two go to a person, because a free email address or a social profile says nothing about who runs a bar.
If your website is bodegalaplaza.es and your email ends in @bodegalaplaza.es, we send a six-digit code. Type it and the place is yours.
Pick the number already listed for the place. A person on our team checks it by hand before anything changes hands.
No email on your own domain, or your site is a builder or social page? Send proof you run the place and a person reads it.
Search for it, open it, and scroll to the bottom of the place: Is this your place?
Sign in and pick one of the three ways above. Email on your own domain finishes on the spot.
Name, description, phone and website. Changes go live when you save — and nothing asks for your attention after that.
Claiming happens in the app
Free on iPhone and Android. Sign in with a code sent to your email — no password.
The honest version, so nothing surprises you after you've claimed.
The ones that come up every time, answered straight.
Yes. No subscription, no commission, no card. Claiming, correcting and keeping your place cost nothing. If we ever charge businesses for something, it will be a separate thing you choose — never the claim.
No — and nothing else will either. There's no ranked list to move up. Travellers find you because someone with a similar taste saved or recommended you, and that works the same whether you've claimed the place or not.
Then the instant email route isn't offered, because an address like that proves nothing about who runs the place. Choose the phone on the profile or send proof, and a person on our team checks it.
A place has one verified owner. Request it anyway and tell us why — a person looks at every contested claim, and a claim that shouldn't stand can be revoked, which removes that person's edits.
No. There's nothing to post and no streak to keep. Set it once and leave it alone — the place stays right until something about it actually changes.
No. Those are for businesses that hand a page to guests or tour groups, and for people who recommend places. Claiming is only about your place and works entirely on its own.
Then there's nothing to claim yet — places appear because travellers save and recommend them. Tell us about it in the form below and we'll look into it.
Tell us the place and how to reach you. We'll go through the claim with you, update the hours, facilities or pin the app can't edit yet, and show you what travellers who save you have in common. We reply within two working days.
