Help and contact
Something not working, or a question the app does not answer? Write to us — a person reads every message. This page collects what people ask most often.

How to reach us
Write to hello@vibeofthe.city. We read every message and normally reply within 2 working days, in English, German or Spanish.
It helps to tell us which city you were looking at, what you expected, and what happened instead. If something looks wrong on a screen, a screenshot says more than a description.
You can also reach us by post or phone, using the details on the imprint.
Signing in
Vibe of the City has no password. You enter your email address, we send you a one-time code, and you type that code into the app.
If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder. The code is short-lived, so if you come back to it later, ask for a new one rather than reusing the old one.
Still nothing? Write to us from the same address you are trying to sign in with and we will sort it out.
Your account and your data
Delete your account: in the app, Settings → Delete account. It permanently removes your account and the data tied to it — profile, photos, saved places, trips and messages. It cannot be undone.
Export your data: Settings → Export my data. We prepare a copy of everything we hold about you and email a download link to your account address, usually within a few minutes.
Who can find you: Settings → Discovery decides what appears on your public profile and whether you are suggested to other people.
Reporting, blocking and content
Every profile and every message thread has a report option, and you can block anyone from the same place. Blocking takes effect immediately. Settings → Blocked lists everyone you have blocked, and you can unblock them there.
All free text written in the app — profiles, posts, photo captions, messages — is screened for abuse and profanity before it is stored, in English, German and Spanish. That screening is not perfect. Reporting is why it does not have to be.
Notifications, location and language
Location is optional. It is only used to suggest the city nearest you. You can decline it and search for a city instead — everything else works the same.
Notifications: Settings → Notifications, one kind at a time. If nothing arrives at all, the operating system has usually blocked them; the app says so and offers to open your system settings.
Language: Settings → Language. The app is fully translated into English, German and Spanish.
What a day's score means
Each day gets one score per city, built from public signals — the weather, what is scheduled, how busy the city is likely to be, the rhythm of the season. Open any day and you see the reasons behind its score.
A score is a forecast, not a promise. The further out the date, the more it will still move.
If a city shows nothing at all, we do not cover it yet. Tell us which one and we will look at it.
