All Saints' Day (Allerheiligen) - Public Holiday
All Saints' Day is a statutory public holiday in Baden-Württemberg, falling on a Sunday in 2026. Most shops, offices, and businesses will be closed. Families traditionally visit cemeteries to remember the deceased, decorate graves with candles and autumn flowers, and may participate in graveside blessings. Bakeries often sell 'Allerheiligenstriezel', a braided brioche-type bread.
